I Am From

I am from speed, speed on wheels to speed on water,

from 2 wheels to 4 wheels,

I am from Motorbikes to karts,

From Over the hills and down through the valleys,

I am from Green trees from my window,

From dead paddocks with golden dry grass,

I am from Trophies, Toys and pools

From go-karting, monopoly and motorbiking

I am from the Christmas day turn about each year at my aunties

From “Put your bag away” and “do your lunch box”

I am from a Principal office visits on my first day of school,

From that need to escape and a kick

I am from Fresh trout from Taupo

From  Waterskiing on the  Lake ,

I am from trying and trying again.
